EOR PRICING

EOR Cost in India: Per-Employee Pricing Explained

EOR pricing in India is typically a per-employee monthly fee on top of salary and statutory contributions, understanding what's bundled versus billed separately avoids budget surprises.

EOR providers in India typically charge a per-employee monthly management fee, layered on top of the employee's gross salary and the statutory employer contributions (PF, gratuity accrual, and ESI where applicable) that the EOR remits on the client's behalf. The management fee itself varies by provider and service tier, but the bigger budgeting factor is usually whether benefits (health insurance, other perks) are bundled into the fee or billed as a separate pass-through cost.

Some providers price aggressively on the management fee but mark up statutory contributions or benefits administration, making a true apples-to-apples comparison across providers require looking at total cost per employee per month, not just the headline management fee.

For budgeting purposes, a realistic total cost model is: gross salary, plus statutory employer contributions (roughly 15 to 20% of basic wages), plus the EOR management fee, plus any benefits not already included, modeling only the management fee against salary understates the true per-employee cost.
